Girona Futsal Cup runners-up

The first team of Fricafor Futbol Sala Vilafant unfortunately fell short of revalidating the title of the Girona Cup, which on this occasion was played in the Palau de Girona pavilion.

Our players lost the decisive match 3-1 against the local team, Girona EFS. Even so, the role in the competition of the Vilafant team was impeccable, winning in the semifinals the day before against Sant Julià de Ramis (7-6) in a frenetic and exciting game and standing up to a great team, as Girona, in a competitive final.

Sports are like that and there always has to be a winner, but we can be proud of having given everything on the field, of our fighting spirit and our sportsmanship. Now, to continue with everything in the “División de Honor” league, which resumed last Saturday 14th.
